On September 24, 2019 Stephen Epstein will deliver a special lecture entitled "Recent Images of North Korea in South Korean Popular Culture". The lecture will deal with how South Korean production are treating North Korea and whether North Korea is viewed as an evil in South Korea.

The lecture will start at 10.30 and will take place in the room no. 315 of the Staszic Palac.

Stephen Epstein (associate professor) is the Director of the Asian Studies Programme at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He has published widely on contemporary Korean society and literature and has also translated numerous works of Korean and Indonesian fiction.
